Drum Stick Special

A  Drumstick with legs  has taken up residence where the Giraffe Unicorn once presided - outside One Penny Black. Although he seems friendly enough, with those cute blue eyes, you will notice that feathers and a set of hooves lie ravaged.near his mouth, his tongue licking at the remains. I think it's safe to say that all the monsters are friends.

Train Spotter

Tiger Prawn Snake has taken up a vigil in the Civic train station alley overlooking the tracks. In keeping with his surroundings TP has a black, red and white striped skin that is an extension of the mural next door. He doesn't blend in though, from the carriage of the passing trains TP can be clearly seen, waving his tiny fins hello.

Flirtatious Tiger

Everyone needs a friend and it seems like it is no different for the monsters.
For a few weeks now Tiger Prawn Python has been a lone figure in the Mall, his orange skin fading with loneliness and his eyes beginning to droop. However a whimsical jelly has recently floated by and on a number of occasions has been seen to be hovering at TP's side. Let's hope that this flirtation continues and we see this attractive take up permanent residence in town.

Waiting for Tit Bits

A new monster on the block, Mr Red Socks, sits hungrily on Athcourt Lane. With his mouth wide open I presume he's waitng for any leftovers thrown his way from Le Petite Deux Restaurant, just across the road. In the meantime he scares passers by with his hungry jaws.

Dainty Dancer

A very dainty sugar plum centipede caught my eye as I raced down brown street on my bike today. Unassuming and camouflaged against a yellow meter box, she watched the passing traffic. Let's hope this costume keeps her safe in town for a little longer and she doesn't suffer the premature 'death by scrape' that has taken some of her monster friends lately.

With jaws wide open

Walking down Hunter Street Mall on a bleak winter's night I let out a sudden scream of fright as I was confronted by a giant hungry mouth ! Reaching out from behind an electrical box, it's jaws jalinous and sharp with teeth, I realised I was it's dinner.
